1. Acceptance of Terms

By wearing or using the RL-HUD in Second Life, or by accessing the RL-HUD web portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Service

RL-HUD is a stat-tracking game system for Second Life roleplay. It tracks virtual character stats (hunger, thirst, health, fitness, and others) and is intended purely for entertainment purposes. Stats, balances, and items have no real-world value.

3. Accounts

One account per Second Life avatar. Sharing or transferring accounts is not permitted.
You are responsible for keeping your portal password secure.
You must provide accurate character information (name, age, sex) during setup.
Accounts found to be in violation of these terms may be suspended or permanently banned.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Exploit bugs, use third-party tools, or otherwise cheat to gain unfair advantages.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or intercept communications between the HUD and server.
Harass other players through in-game mechanics.
Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Age-Restricted Content

Certain items in the game (such as alcohol) are age-restricted to characters of appropriate age as set in your profile. By setting your character age you confirm it accurately represents your intended roleplay character. The system enforces these restrictions automatically.

6. Virtual Currency & Items

RL Coins and in-game items are virtual goods with no real-world monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for real currency. We reserve the right to modify, reset, or remove virtual goods at any time.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account for violation of these terms, disruptive behaviour, or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for any loss of virtual goods, account data, or service interruptions.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
